Eyelash Tinting
No woman should take mascara with her on holiday. The combination of frequent dips in the sea and hot weather almost guarantees that unless your waterproof mascara actually does what it says on the box, you will be left sporting the undesirable "panda eyes look" for most of your vacation. But there is an answer: eyelash tinting, a process, which dyes your existing eyelashes to make them look darker, removing the need to wear mascara. Depending on your hair colour, your beauty therapist will be able to suggest, which of the many colours on offer such as black, blue, blue/black, brown, brown/black and grey will best suit your complexion.Taking only approximately 15 minutes, eyelash tinting is a beauty treatment that can be fitted into even the busiest of schedules. However, the first time you have it done you must visit the salon 24 hours prior to your treatment to have a patch test. The patch test, simply involves the beautician putting some of the eyelash tint on your inner arm to check for an allergic reaction.
When you arrive for the actual treatment the therapist will place cotton wool under your closed eyes, then dabs the dye onto your eyelashes. The dye is then removed after ten minutes with water. Unless the dye gets into your eyes, which will cause stinging, the treatment should not hurt.
