There is a huge demand for training in the professional beauty industry which is why for so many therapists, the next step in their career is into the training area. Treatment trends come and go, but the demand for training remains constant. Working as a therapist or a nail technician in a salon or in your own business gives you years of valuable experience. You can put this experience to use by training the next generation of beauty professionals.

Who should take this course?

Targeted at beauty therapists, holistic therapists and nail technicians who are new to teaching; the Award in Education and Training is the recognised and accredited UK entry level teaching qualification.

Course Requirements:

Students must be prepared to work on an intensive basis over 8 days. The best approach is to work on the tasks every day (usually evenings) and over one weekend.

Course Delivery:

8 Day course delivered online with dedicated tutor support to give you guidance and feedback on your assignments and your lesson plan for the micro teach session (delivered on the last day).

Course Content:

Students are required to read course notes, participate in discussion forums and complete the set assignments / tasks. Tasks include producing a 15 minute lesson plan, presenting the lesson to the rest of the group, evaluation of another micro teach session and then producing a reflective journal summarising your learning experience.

Course Dates

Various course dates are available with Skype option for those unable to travel to our training centre at Milton Keynes for the micro teach session. You will be able to select your session from the available dates when you book your course. The course material will only be made available on the first day of the course.
