The Guild Beauty Industry Surveys

Waxing Treatments – August 2015

Waxing is the most popular of all salon treatments. The first Beauty Industry Survey on Waxing survey was carried out in June and July 2014 and the report was published in August 2014. The importance of this sector of the market in terms of the number of salon treatments carried out each year and the sales of wax and associated products justified another survey on 2015.

Survey Methodology

The Beauty Industry Survey for Waxing Treatments was carried out through Beautyguild.com which is the website of the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists and is the UK’s largest professional beauty website. The Waxing Treatment questionnaire was available from 4/7/15 to 31/7/15. A total of 214 unique visitors responded to the specific questionnaire on waxing treatments and brands.

Most Popular Training Venues For Waxing

We asked our therapists and salon owners to tell us if and where they had been trained in advanced waxing techniques.

How Do Therapists Order And Re-stock Wax?
